The youth ministry serves as an aid to the spiritual growth and development of the teenagers at Cabot Church of Christ. The youth ministry coordinates many events throughout the year to help the teens grow closer to Christ and each other. The ultimate goal of the youth ministry is to empower teens with the knowledge and awareness to take a proactive role in transforming their lives into the likeness of Christ. The youth ministry is led by our youth minister, Tyler Vesperman.

May 31 Searcy Day of Service
Our youth group has an opportunity to serve with churches of Christ in Searcy on Wednesday, May 31st starting in the morning and lasting through mid-afternoon. Many will still be in school that day – if that’s the case, you’re invited to join us in Searcy at 6 pm for an area-wide youth cookout & devo. Transportation will be provided for both of these opportunities.
The service portion of the day begins in the AM and will end mid-afternoon.
Students attending ALL day should arrive at our church building by 8:15 AM. They will remain in Searcy once their service project wraps up.
Students attending ALL day should bring a water bottle, sunscreen, & a sack lunch.
Students attending only the cookout/Devo should arrive at our church building by 5:15 PM.

Join us in welcoming the upcoming 7th graders on Saturday, June 3rd from 4-7pm! We’ll meet at the building at 4pm and teens will compete in a photo scavenger hunt around Cabot! Dinner will be at 6pm at the building, and all youth families are invited to attend! All information and the signup link are on the youth group website! Kerusso is a week-long preacher training camp for 9th-12th grade young men. Students spend the week on Harding's campus learning Bible study methods and sermon preparation and delivery from faculty, students, and friends. More importantly, perhaps, is that they learn that they, too, can serve the LORD in a lifetime of ministry.
The eleventh annual Kerusso Experience is July 1 - July 8, 2023. This year's theme is "The Kings of Judah, the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly". In addition to the textual study, beginning, intermediate and advanced classes in preaching will be offered. Each year students will glean new information and insights. The application deadline for Kerusso 2023 is June 17, 2023 or when capacity is reached.
Camp Chara' June 23 -29
Registration for Camp Chara is currently full, but if your 7th – 12th teen is interested in attending, you are encouraged to put them on the waiting list by using the signup link on the youth group website to register them. The cost for camp is $260 per teen (scholarships available, text Tyler).
Camp Chara registration opened Sunday, February 19th @ 2 PM.
